Their mission of soliciting vehicle donations and then auctioning them off provide financial support to help kids get back in school to earn their high school diploma. According to Malcolm Wentworth, CEO, Cars for Kids, “We are excited to have Amanda join our team. She brings with her a wealth of leadership, experience and professionalism that will strengthen our customer service and solidify operations.”

Amanda has worked with the Dallas Police Department for over a decade and a half, where she was responsible for driving customer service at the highest levels of the department. She was instrumental in building long-lasting programs for the Dallas Police Department. Additionally, she was accountable for processes involving the certifications and continuing education of 3,000 plus officers. At Cars for Kids, she recently completed America’s Auction Academy Auctioneers School in line with the organization’s vehicle auction operations which take place every Saturday starting at 9:00 am.

Car for Kids, and I’m excited to bring my years of experience and knowledge to the table to add value to the cause. I enjoy working with others to accomplish the mission and vision of the organization through the car donation program and our auction. We are enacting change in the lives of thousands of kids every day, and I am extremely proud of that,” said Amanda.

Yoga and outdoor enthusiast, Amanda has an Associate’s degree from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Lamar University. Presently, she is working towards her master’s Certificate in Marketing and a master’s degree in Management.
